The Georgia Traditional Manufacturers Association

IN THE INTEREST OF
GEORGIA’S MANUFACTURERS

Our Purpose

Since its founding in 1900, GTMA has represented the interests of Georgia manufacturers before the General Assembly and the Georgia Public Service Commission, and helped GTMA member companies address the issues most critical to their profitability.

While its mission has remained constant over the years, GTMA has steadily broadened its reach and the scope of issues it addresses. Created by Georgia’s textile industry, today’s GTMA works as the Georgia Traditional Manufacturers Association on behalf of all Georgia manufacturers to enhance their competitiveness in a global marketplace.

GTMA links the intelligence and strengths of its members to meet challenges with the power of many. Members enjoy the benefits of a long history of meaningful accomplishments on major issues – from taxation to energy costs to environmental compliance – from their participation in this collective initiative.

GTMA achieves measurable results for its members, historically yielding a return of more than three times their dues investment.

“GTMA has served Georgia’s manufacturers with the highest degree of integrity, professionalism and distinction. I have the utmost respect for the association and its leadership.”

Senator Johnny Isakson, United States Senate
