Officers, Staff and Board Members
Officers & Staff
The Association's officers are a chairman, vice chairman, and treasurer, all of whom are industry executives who serve the Association without pay. Staff officers are a president, vice president and general counsel, and secretary. It is customary for the non-paid officers to move through the "chairs" from treasurer, to vice chairman and ultimately, to the chairmanship, though each is voted upon by the membership at the annual meeting of the Association. The staff officers are elected by the Board, and serve at the Board's pleasure.

Board of Directors
Management and control of GTMA is vested in the Board of Directors and Officers, composed of up to eighteen (18) elective directors with staggered terms, with the chairman, vice chairman and treasurer being ex-officio, voting members of the Board. The past chairmen remain on the Board for life, and are eligible to vote as long as they are employed by a GTMA Active member company.
